Description
The Hydronix Hydro-Mix HM08 is a flush-mount digital microwave moisture sensor for mixers and conveyors, built with a rugged, hard-wearing design for abrasive materials.
- Measurement: Moisture, ambient temperature
- Typical materials: Concrete, sand, stone, other aggregates
- Installation: Planetary mixer floor, turbo mixer base, single/twin shaft mixers (30° from vertical on the blade upstroke), or over a belt conveyor in the Hydro-Skid
- Measurement modes: Choice of measurement modes for optimum sensor performance
- Accuracy: Can be calibrated to 0.2% for aggregates (0.1% in the mixer) and 0.5% for other materials
- Outputs: Two analogue outputs and digital RS485 communications (includes Modbus), with configurable digital inputs / output
- Measurement rate: 25 times per second
- Temperature: Fully temperature compensated; temperature output available
- Power supply: 15-30V dc
- Configuration: Remotely configurable with Hydro-Com software or Hydro-View / Hydro-Hub
- Cable: 0975A or 0975AT sensor cable (sold separately)
